The beach house of Umana Bali, LXR Hotels & Resorts sits below the Ungasan cliffs on Melasti Beach. Covered dining, parasols and curtained seating let you move from lunch to a waterside break and an evening meal without changing venues.
A dining table suits a food-focused visit, while daybeds and cabanas work better for a longer stay in swimwear. Bright sand and blue water define the daytime view; softer light and drinks take over toward evening.
Beachside and Daytime Flow
The seaside pool looks out toward the sand and horizon. OTA dining-credit products that include pool access are separate from the official reserved-seat packages. An ordinary restaurant visit does not automatically include unrestricted use of every pool facility.
Umana Bali residents receive beach-entry and shuttle benefits, with sun loungers allocated first come, first served subject to availability. There is no lifeguard on duty at the ocean: supervise children closely and keep to the pool or sand when sea conditions are unsuitable.

Recommended Time to Visit
Arrive after the 10 am opening for bright sea colours, or choose a shaded table for lunch. The direction of the sun changes even around curtained seats and parasols, so bring sun protection for a longer stay.
Late afternoon is a natural time for drinks as light softens over the water. Sunset visibility varies with season and cloud. The venue closes at 9 pm; for an OTA daybed limited to four hours, choose your arrival around the part of the day you most want to enjoy.
Food and Drinks
Nikkei cooking brings Japanese and Peruvian flavours together. The UMA Poke Bowl combines smoked salmon, avocado and wakame at IDR 170,000++. Lighter choices include Beetroot Salad and Carrot & Pomelo at IDR 120,000++ each, with Japanese Romaine and Quinoa Salad at IDR 130,000++ each.
Start with a cold drink, share a few plates for lunch or stay for dinner beside the sea. A children’s menu and dietary/allergen markers help with choosing dishes. Prices marked ++ carry a combined 21% government tax and service charge.
Photo Spots
White sand, blue water, curtained cabanas and pink parasols provide distinctive beach-house backgrounds. Frame seating without making other guests the subject of your photo.
Daylight suits wide sea views; late afternoon brings reflections and light through a glass, while the bar and drinks give colour after dark. Drones, tripods and commercial photography are restricted and are not treated like ordinary handheld holiday photos.

What to Decide Before You Go
The venue itself has no entrance fee, but Melasti Beach entry and parking are separate. Ordinary restaurant dining and Bar Counter seating are different from dining-credit seat packages.
Official ++ prices add a combined 21% tax and service charge.
An OTA purchase price is not necessarily the same amount as the included dining credit. Some daybeds have a four-hour limit, and particular seating positions are not guaranteed.
Klook requires a separate venue reservation to secure a time slot. Cancellation deadlines differ: 48 hours for Klook, six days for KKday, and 5 pm four days before use for Trip.com.
Outside food and drinks, pets, large inflatables and photography equipment are restricted.

Among OTAs, KKday offers lower-credit dining packages but free cancellation ends six days before use. Trip.com allows it until 17:00 four days before use. Also weigh official cabanas’ three-person capacity against two-person OTA packages and the four-hour limit on OTA daybeds.

Yes. Non-residents are welcome and Uma Beach House has no entrance fee. Melasti Beach entry and parking are separate.
Does ordinary dining require a minimum spend?
