Le Pirate Nusa Ceningan

White Beach Boxes and a Small Pool Above the Turquoise Ceningan Channel

Nusa Ceningan

Updated September 19, 2026
Venue highlights

This small beach club pairs a channel-facing swim with an unhurried deck surrounded by white cottages. It suits an island-exploring break or sunset together more than a large party. Drop in for food, or budget separately for drink-inclusive pool access if you want to swim.

01

Le Pirate Nusa Ceningan

Nusa Ceningan | Beach club

Across the Yellow Bridge from Lembongan, Le Pirate appears along Ceningan’s coastal lane: white walls, turquoise doors and a compact pool facing the channel. Swimming, eating and watching the water happen close together, without the scale of a sprawling party club.

Its low-cliff position opens onto the opposite island and the seaweed-growing shallows. Accommodation forms part of the property, but outside guests can dine and pay to use the pool. Think of an intimate island waterfront stop rather than a long sandy-beach day.

02

Entrance and Overall Vibe

The Le Pirate sign leads into an open-air restaurant and a lawn lined with white cottages. Tell the team whether you are dining or using the pool before settling into an available seat.

Thatched parasols and wooden furniture frame the blue water. Guest rooms are close by, so keep paths clear and give residents space while talking or taking photographs.

Pool, Beach and Daytime Flow

The small infinity pool faces the channel between Ceningan and Lembongan. It is better for cooling off and alternating with a lounger or beanbag than for lengthy fitness laps.

Day pool access is IDR150,000 per person. It includes a towel and one cocktail, one smoothie, two beers or one mocktail. This is an access package, not minimum spend or food-and-drink credit. Restaurant purchases do not replace the pool fee, and swimming in the sea is a separate decision.

Seat Types and Minimum Spend

Choose poolside loungers or beanbags for a swim-and-rest visit, restaurant tables for a meal, or the bar counter for a drink. The IDR150,000 shown below is day pool access, not a reserved-seat charge. Ask about seat availability and any extra conditions for your arrival time and party size.

Recommended Time to Visit

Daylight brings out the blue channel and bright white cottages, making a pool-and-lunch visit especially appealing. Alternate shade and water breaks when the sun feels strong.

For sunset, arrive with time to settle in before the sky changes colour. The bar’s happy hour runs 17:00–18:30. If returning to mainland Bali the same day, plan around your last boat rather than assuming you can stay until sunset.

Food and Drinks

The restaurant serves Western and Asian dishes. A burger or fish plate suits a hungry post-swim stop; tacos and a drink make an easier companion to watching the channel.

The pool package includes a choice of drink, while food is ordered separately. The photographs show the style of dishes and presentation; select from the menu and accompaniments available on your visit. You do not need to stay overnight to dine here.

Do not enter room terraces or interiors for photographs, and ask before featuring other pool users. Drones are not permitted above the property.

FAQ

Can I visit without staying overnight?

Yes. Outside guests can dine, and day pool access costs IDR150,000 per person. Ask the official WhatsApp about available seats.

Is IDR150,000 a minimum spend?

No. It is day pool access, with a towel and one cocktail, one smoothie, two beers or one mocktail. It is not F&B credit; food is ordered separately.

Can I bring children?

Overnight stays are for ages 16 and above. For a day visit with children, ask the venue with their ages and your intended date.

Can a car take me all the way?

Cars cannot cross the Yellow Bridge. Continue from Lembongan to Ceningan on foot or by scooter, arranging both the boat and island transfer.

Can I return to mainland Bali after sunset?

It depends on your boat schedule. Do not assume an evening service; confirm the return sailing and harbour transfer first. Staying on the island makes a leisurely sunset easier.

Is Wi-Fi and card payment available?

The restaurant has Wi-Fi and cards are accepted. Island connectivity can vary and ATMs are limited, so carry some cash as well.
